Peter Williams - President
Peter has a degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is a certified public accountant. His experience includes five years with a worldwide CPA firm. He has held the position of CFO in the venture funding, aviation and manufacturing industries. Peter joined Piedmont Air Conditioning in 1991 as CFO and in 2009, Peter suceeded Jerry Kennedy as President of Piedmont Air Conditioning.
Keith Summey - Vice President & Chief Operating Officer
With 25+ years experience, Keith is well versed in all aspects of the HVAC industry. Keith is a native of North Carolina and a graduate of The Technical College of Alamance. In 1984 he joined Piedmont Air Conditioning and has worked in both the service and sales divisions. Keith joined the leadership team as GM of the Wilmington office, and grew that region for the company. In 2007, he was asked to lead the Raleigh office as Vice President & GM. Keith assumed the role of COO in 2010.
Kenneth Oesch - Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
Ken is a graduate of Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, NC with a degree in accounting and is a member of the CMA. His experience includes 13 years with a Fortune 500 company as a Director of Finance / Controller. Ken joined Piedmont Air Conditioning in July 2008. In 2010 Ken assumed the role of CFO at Piedmont Air Conditioning.
Scott Gugenheim - Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Scott has an undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University and a masters degree from Campbell University. He has been working in the energy efficiency & facilities services business since 1996 with companies such as Johnson Controls & IllumElex. As the manager of Siemens Building Technologies energy efficiency business in the Southeast, Scott oversaw the energy engineering and sales team dedicated to building guaranteed energy savings performance contracting projects. Scott joined Piedmont Air Conditioning in 2010.
Bobby Hughes - Vice President & GM, Raleigh Construction
Bobby joined Piedmont in 1994 and has been a Sales Engineer, Estimator and Project Manager. He graduated NC State with a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering. While at NC State, he passed the EIT exam and in 1999, earned his Professional Engineering license for North Carolina. Bobby has electrical and mechanical licenses, and has the Green Advantage Certification under the LEED program.
H.B. Moore - Vice President & GM, Greenville & Eastern Region
H.B. started his HVAC career in 1979 in Raleigh, NC. He joined Piedmont in 1981 after graduation from Wake Technical College in Raleigh. His direct field experience has included all aspects of residential and commercial applications. H.B. moved into commercial service sales in 1990. He opened the Greenville operation in 1993 and Wilmington office in 1997.
Tim Kiser - Vice President & GM, Wilmington Tim graduated from Forsyth Technical College in 1979 and worked in various electrical and HVAC roles until joining Piedmont Air Conditioning in 1994. Tim worked with Piedmont Air Conditioning as a Commercial Service Technician and in 1997 he served as a Project Sales Representative. Tim relocated in 2009 to become the GM of our Wilmington branch, and currently holds all NC HVAC and refrigeration licenses.
Jerry Kennedy - Business Development
Jerry joined Piedmont Air Conditioning in 1983 as a service project sales representative. He has served as sales manager, general manager and vice president of the commercial service group. In 2001, Jerry became president of Piedmont Air Conditioning. Jerry retired as President in 2009, and is currently serving Piedmont as a consultant in the area of business development.
Edward L. Kelly, P.E. - Sales, Business Development
Larry graduated from Georgia Tech in 1962. After graduating, he moved to Raleigh where he worked with McCracken Supply Company until 1972. In May of that year, he purchased Piedmont Air Conditioning. Larry is a professional engineer and maintains all appropriate HVAC licenses.
Daniel A. Kelly - Sales, Business Development
Buddy graduated from West Georgia College and served in the United States Navy Reserve until 1970. He worked for Playtex Corporation in various managerial positions in the U.S. Mexico and Canada. Buddy joined Piedmont Air Conditioning in 1975. Buddy has all appropriate HVAC licenses.

Marvin Perkins - Safety Director
Marvin was born in Danville, Virginia and attended college in Virginia and at NC State. He retired from the position of Division Safety Director of Winn-Dixie Stores in 2000 after 30 years of service and joined Piedmont Air Conditioning in April of 2001 as Safety Director. He is a certified instructor for the National Safety Council, and a board member of the American Society of Safety Engineers.
Erika Martinez - Human Resource Director
Erika has 11 years of human resources experience and has worked in a variety of industries such as hospitality, education, government and senior living. She is a graduated of Florida International University with a BS in Hospitality Management. As the Human Resources Manager, Erika is responsible for recruiting and retention of Piedmont Air Conditioning associates, employee benefits, coordination of internal training programs, employment law updates and employee relations. Erika joined Piedmont Air Conditioning in 2010.
